What do I mean by that?
I see many mothers smothering their children.
They give them healthy nutritious food, sign them for gymnastics, swimming etc. They give them the opportunity to get exercise, grow a social network because they love them unconditionally.
This love you give to your children, I want you to have that luxury for yourself as well.
How often do you get up and eat because you just have some spare time to tidy up, “forget” to go to the doctor or skip a meal because you feel as though you´re overindulging?
Next time think if it were your child, would you ask him/her to clean up while he/she was eating? Or would you ever “forget” to take your child to the doctor?
No, well…
Don’t be so hard on yourself both physically and mentally. Stop the negative thoughts about yourself.
You do your best and that’s good enough. Stop feeling like a bad mother your precious baby can get a bit dirty from time to time and that’s okay.
Sometimes they won’t have the trendiest clothes that’s fine too.
The kids didn’t get the right lunch pack one day whatever it may be, (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, peskatraian), stop punishing yourself over it.
It doesn’t matter from time to time, as long as they are happy and healthy children.
Take responsibility for your life and start loving yourself as you love your children.
Why is it just as difficult for women to love themselves as it is easy to love their children?
Let us be the ones who change it!
